Even without the booze, I seem to have a "holiday hangover". A tendency for people to have a considerable drop-off of energy after Christmas. I am one of those people. I have a lot of work to do this week and a holiday hangover is the last thing I need to slow me down. Fortunately for me, I am on my way to exercise and that usually brings my energy levels back up. I hope I am right. Wish me luck.

That is the question isn’t it? Sure there are skeptics, aren’t they all skeptics? Unfortunately, that’s the problem, people tend to listen to them.We tend to allow the negativity and pessimism of others to seep into our subconscious. So much so, that we are unable to imagine something wonderful entering our lives even if it walked right through our front door. That’s how I view The Secret. If you were unaware of it, and someone revealed it to you through the book or DVD, it could feel as if something wonderful just walked right through your door. The subtitle reads Everything You Need To Be An Effective Life Coach. I almost want to believe it. I’m sure seasoned life coaches will beg to differ, considering it took considerably more than reading one book to qualify as a life coach. With that disclaimer being said, I still would like to give The Life Coaching Handbook credit for setting out to accomplish so much, and nearly doing it! The book takes the reader through the process of life coaching a client while also teaching the different tenets that comprise this unique field of study. Using charts and models to explore and explain, the reader finishes the book feeling armed with a great deal of knowledge of the history of life coaching and a definitive approach when handling clients.
